FULafia Journal of Humanities and Social
Sciences (FJHSS) is committed to the study of
cultural and social issues ranging from the local,
national to the global. It is particularly interested
in historical, theoretical, empirical and critical
perspectives rooted in the indigenous cultures
from which the art form or social issues
emanate. It is also open to modes of scholarly
inquiry integrating, or derived from other cultural
and ideological traditions.
FJHSS invites well researched and scholarly
written papers for publication. The articles may
be in the field of Language, Literary Studies,
Performance Arts, Philosophy, Visual Arts,
History, Economics, Political Science, Social
Work or Sociology.
Contributors are to submit an electronic copy via
e-mail on Microsoft Word (MS Word) format to
fuljhs@gmail.com , or to editor.fjhss@
fulafia.ed.ng together with one hard copy.
Manuscripts should be 12point font size, double
spaced, Times New Roman. The latest editions
of the APA and MLA manuals are the acceptable
referencing styles, depending on the field.
Articles be should between 10-18 pages.
Submissions will be peer-reviewed at no cost to
the author(s). Articles submitted, must not have
been published or simultaneously submitted for
publication elsewhere. Authors of articles
accepted for publication in this journal cede the
copyright to the publishers of the journal.
Name(s) and address(es) of the author(s)
should appear only on a separate cover page.
Submissions should include an abstract of
between 200-250 words including keywords. Hard
copies are to be mailed to:
