semester of 2015/2016 academic session;
Week 1: May 8 – 14, 2016 -Resumption and
Registration for all Students – Faculty-Based
Course Exposition.
Week 2: May 15 – 21, 2016 -Lectures begin for
all students -Vice Chancellor’s Test.
Week 3: May 22 – 28, 2016 -Lectures Continue.
Week 4: May 29 – June 4, 2016 -1st Continuous
Assessment Test -Lectures Continues.
Week 5: June 5 – June 11, 2016 -Lectures
Continue -End of Registration and Closure of
Edu-portal.
Week 6: June 12 – Week 7: June 25, 2016 –
Lectures Continues.
Week 8: June 26 – July 2, 2016 -2nd Continuous
Assessment Test -Senate (Examinations) –
Lectures Continues.
Week 9: July 3 – Week 12: July 30, 2016 –
Lectures Continues.
Week 13: July 31 – August 6, 2016 -3rd
Continuous Assessment Test -End of Lectures
Week 14: August 7 – 13, 2016 -Revision for all
Students.
Week 15: August 14 – 20, 2016 -Second
Semester Examinations Begin.
Week 16: August 21 – 27, 2016 -Second
Semester Examinations Continues.
Week 17: August 28 – Sept. 3, 2016 -End of
Second Semester Examinations.
Saturday, September 3, 2016 -Student to Vacate
Campus and Halls of Residence.
SUMMARY
Registration -One (1) week
Lectures -Twelve (12) weeks
Revision -One (1) week
Examination -Three (3) weeks
Total – Seventeen (17) weeks
All Public Holidays will be observed accordingly.
