There has been another protest at the Federal
University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, as the non-
academic staff of the institution employed
charms to express their concerns.
The angry protesters allegedly chased away the

then. The workers have promised not to relent in
their effort until their terms are met.

Their demands include upgrading of staff with
additional qualifications, appointment of
substantive directors to all non-academic
teaching staff units and provision of working
tools, among others, Punch reports.
The protesters, who were seen holding on to
various forms of charms, carried on with their
agitation as songs from Afro Beat legend, Fela
Anikulapo Kuti , played in the background.
Ishaq Odunjo, the Non-Academic Staff Union
chairman of the university chapter, told the
workers that their requests are being considered.
