The Vice Chancellor of university of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has
disclosed that about 104,000 candidates have applied to study
in the university for the 2017/2018 academic session through
in the ongoing 2017 JAMB UTME.
He disclosed this at the 40th anniversary of the Department of
History and International Studies of the university.
According to him, this number is outrageous as only 10,000 of
the candidates will be admitted by the university in 2017/2018
session.
He stated that the demand for admission into the university is
due to its peaceful and stable academic calendar.”
