Here are five courses you should go for if you want to start making a lot of money immediately after getting your BSc certificate.

1. Medicine

In Nigeria and many other parts of the world, medicine is one of the most marketable and high paying jobs. Even at the National Youth Service Corps level, medical graduates get a better allowance than other corps members from their places of primary assignments.

2. Petrochemical Engineering

This course offers a heavy pay with good allowances including house allowance, car allowance and many others. Petroleum is Nigeria’s largest exporting product and as such, petrochemical engineers in the country are in hot demand. According to Glassdoor, Shell engineers are making over N500,000  monthly.

3. Estate Management/Architecture/ Civil Engineering

According to the 2018 Stutern’s report, Logistics/Transportation industry is one of the most paid industries. The research survey shows that the industry has the highest respondents earning ₦200,000 and more.

5. Geology

Unlike Business Administration, Mass Communication and Law, Geology is not a popular course among Nigerian students. However, it is one of the most profitable courses because oil companies like Shell and Chevron usually run after good brilliant geology graduates.
