Manchester United welcome Austrian side LASK to Old Trafford for the second leg of the Round of 16 game. The Red Devils had an advantage over their guest after securing a 5-0 away victory from the previous leg. Tonight was another great night as the host secured another 2-1 win to double up their victory in the Europa round of 16.

Odion Ighalo was in action has he joined the team’s starting eleven. Manchester United started Romero, Fosu-Mensah, Bailly, Maguire, Williams, McTominay, Fred, Mata, Lingard, James and Ighalo. Despite making substitute in the second half, Ole Solskjaer failed to substitute Ighalo as the Nigerian played full time.

After scoring brace in the previous leg against LASK Linz, Ighalo was unable to get his name on the score sheet. But his performance tonight was commendable as he was able to convince Ole Solskjaer for full time play. You would recall that Odion Ighalo won the man of the match in the first leg before the pandemic broke out.

An equalizer from Jesse lingard makes the United level 1-1 with their guest while a late goal from Anthony Martial put the United ahead tonight. Anthony Martial came off the bench to net the winner as United won 2-1 on the night and 7-1 on aggregate, sending them into the quarter-finals.

Manchester United will be looking out to their next game in the quarter finals as they are currently running a fine form.
