A former minister of information, Frank Nweke Jr, has emerged president of the Harvard Kennedy School Alumni Association of Nigeria (HKSAAN).

The former minister obtained a master in public administration from the prestigious Harvard institution in 2008, Vanguard reports.

It should be noted that HKSAAN is the only Harvard Kennedy School alumni association in Sub-Saharan Africa.

In his acceptance speech, Nweke implored every member of the association to contribute their knowledge and resources towards transforming Nigeria for the better.

The former minister said beneficiaries of Harvard education in Nigeria should do all that they can to ensure that the country is transformed for the better.
