Frequent urination is really annoying especially having to leave important things that you are doing. Some people wake up at night multiple times or rather frequently just to answer the call to nature.

In this article, i will be discussing about frequent urination and the simple natural ways to reduce it.

Before we dive into our topic for today,let’s explain the meaning of urine.

Urine can be defined as a liquid excretory product in human beings which flows from the kidneys through the ureters to the urinary bladder.

The breakdown of mineral substances by the body (Cellular metabolism) leads to the formation of many end-products that are high in nitrogen and needs to be removed from the bloodstream, such as urea, uric acid, etc. These end-products are removed from the body through the release of urine, which is the primary method for excreting water-soluble chemicals from the body.

Causes Of Frequent Urination Or Too Much Urination

1. Diabetes

Signs of common diabetes include increased urination and excessive thirst. When you have diabetes, excess glucose ,a type of sugar builds up in your blood. Your kidneys are forced to work overtime to filter and absorb the excess glucose.

2.Excessive Intake Of Water

When you take a high volume of water you are more likely to pee a lot. 30% of water in the human body is derived from foods, and more from drinks, which adds to the water intake. Drink enough water to clear your urine but avoid excess water that would make you spend the whole day visiting the toilet.

3.Urinary Infection

urinary infection is a major cause of frequent urge to urinate more often than normal. Symptoms of urinary tract infection include urinary discharge, pelvic pain, back pain, etc.

Ways To Reduce Frequent Urination

1. Minimize the intake of fluid you take daily,this will drastically reduce the urge to pee; but if symptoms persists,kindly visit your doctor.

2. Reduce high intake of sugar both in your meal and in your drink

3. Minimize the consumption of alcohol and tobacco

4.Always go for regular medical check up.
