COVID-19: Excitements As NCDC Announces Just 79 New Cases for Sunday, Sept 13

Lowest COVID-19 case

Nigeria has recorded its lowest number of confirmed coronavirus infections in the last five months with 79 new cases announced Sunday, September 12

The lowest caseload recorded in Nigeria since the inception of the pandemic was 67 infections on April 27.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) gave a breakdown of where the new cases were reported via its official Twitter handle, stating;

On Saturday, Nigeria recorded 56,177 total cases, 44,008 recoveries and 1,078 fatalities nationwide.

The newly recorded infections has now put total COVID-19 cases at 56,24644,152 discharged and 1,082 fatalities across the country.

Also, NCDC in its latest situation report has revealed that overall samples tested nationwide have increased from 438,135 to 440,248 as at September 12.
