When broken down, the promotion beneficiaries are made up of Seventy-75 Academic Staff, consisting of 21 Professors, 24 Associate Professors while 30 other academic staff also got elevated to higher cadres of their career.
Also making up the list are 52 Non-Academic Staff consisting of five Deputy Registrars, One Deputy Bursar and 46 others.
It is noteworthy that the Governing Council also approved the appointment of 51 new staff members into various positions of different faculties, departments and units of the multiple-award-winning Best State University in Nigeria.
