WW III: Chinese President Asks Soldiers to Prepare for War

Select Language

Xi Jinping, president of China, has urged the military personnel to focus on preparing for war amid recent political unrest that has pitched the country against the United States and other parts of the world.

Speaking during a visit to a military marine base on Tuesday, October 13, in Southern China, President Jinping told the soldiers to “maintain a high level of alert.”

Jinping was said to be inspecting the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) navy-marine corps in Chaozhou of Guangdong province as part in celebrations to mark the 40th anniversary of the Shenzhen special economic zone holding on Wednesday, October 15.

According to Daily Mail, the statement might be attributed to the rising political tension between China and Taiwan, a country in East Asia which Beijing Chinas capital considers as its own.

“Focus all your minds and energy on preparing for war and maintain a high level of alert… safeguard the country’s sovereignty security and marine interests.”

Meanwhile, Shinzo Abe, prime minister of Japan, resigned from his position on Friday, August 28, citing deteriorating health as a reason.

The 65-year-old is the longest-serving prime minister in the history of the Asain country, with his resignation bringing an abrupt end to a record-setting tenure with no clear successor yet in place.

According to Yahoo News, Abe has been over the years battling with “ulcerative colitis,” a chronic bowel condition where the colon and rec’tum are severely inflamed.

The debate, which was held in Cleaveland on Wednesday, September 29, was hosted and moderated by Fox New’s Chris Wallace.

Surprisingly, President Trump pulled the stunts on both his opponent and the moderator in a bid to hold the spotlight from the historical matchup while Biden also fired back in a debate grossly characterised by personal attacks and name-callings.
